Community Service: Mini Pop Up Shop

As many of you know, I have an online Jewellery Shop via etsy where I sell custom handmade pieces by myself, statement jewellery and vintage jewellery. As much as I love my jewellery, I've wanted to start a mini pop up shop for some time. After the push from family and friends and my friend recently buying items from me...I thought I'd just do it! Thus the birth of Community Service.

'Community Service is a fashion brand that offers women a select range of unique pieces to create their own personal style. The brand's aesthetic is based on the love for African Print and the Community; by combining contemporary silhouettes, styles and trends with colourful and bold fabrics to create unique statement pieces.
All items are made in Africa (Nigeria), to sustain the African Woman and support thriving tailors in the Motherland. We believe in giving back to the community and working towards a better tomorrow.
Today, a woman with a love for fashion creates her own style and future!'
Here is how I would style the 'Tejiri Open Back Dress' this fall:
Kenneth Jay Lane Coin Choker (here), Topshop Perfect Ghillie Courts (here), Tejiri Community Service Dress (here), Topshop Lantern Jacket by Religion (here), and Fendi Mini Fendista Shoulder Bag (here).

The price range for items are from £20.00 - £60.00. This is a limited Edition Collection. I'll be having a giveaway soon from the Community Service Pop - Up shop so watch this space!!! View the entire collection (here) + (here).

Back on Truck

I am a repeat offender. I have a lot of clothes but I tend to always wear the same thing, when I buy something new. When I get tired of it, I then throw it into some oblivion, within my closet. Raise your hand if you are the same...Yup I saw your hand! Thank Goodness I'm not the only one.

So when I was getting ready for church and got tired of everything I tried on not fitting my mood, I resorted to wearing this H&M Maxi Skirt again. It just make me feel instantly chic without putting in too much effort.
Outfit Details:
Zara Long Sleeve Thin Blouse (SOLD OUT)
H&M Crinkled Textured Skirt (here)
Zara Double Pearl Choker Necklace (SOLD OUT) similar (here)
Fendi Mamma Baguette Similar Consignment Bags (here) + (here)
Carven Green Suede Bow Strap Ballerinas on sale (here) + (here)
Kenneth Jay Lane Bracelet (here) + (here) similar (here)

If you read my blog you already know I'm obsessed with Salvatore Ferragamo Flats, another brand I love is the Parisian brand: Carven. I have been collecting them for about 2 years now. I bought these Carvens' during the summer sale via Avenue 32, making these my 5th pair. Based on what I've seen via Instagram for RW 2014, it seems I'll be adding a few pairs to this growing collection soon.

Hope you've had a blessed week and have a fabulous weekend full of growth, happiness + love!

Everyone Has One

Everyone has that one dress (or in my case two) for whenever, you're running late, have to get ready something in ten minutes for a spontaneous dinner date, or a last minute outfit that you already know looks chic on you. This COS dress is that dress for me, I have it in Grey and Coral, and if COS creates other colors, I'll buy those ones as well. (You guys don't understand how much I LOVE COS).

 Outfit Details:
COS Jersey Dress (SOLD OUT) similar in blue (here) like this (here)
Mawi Chunky Statement Necklace (SOLD OUT) similar (here) + (here)
Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100's (here) + cheaper version (here) + (here)
Vintage Gold Chain Shoulder bag similar (here) + (here)
Kenneth Jay Lane Ram Bangle (here)

A lot of friends have seen this dress and it's grey fraternal twin on so many occasions, I'm sure they probably think, not this dress again Ag, when I wear it. But honestly Everyone Has One dress that they love wearing over and over again. I definitely wear this dress at least 2-6 times a month....don't let the blog posts fool you!

Yellow Circles

Neoprene fabrics have fast become one of my favourite fabrics. The materials are just so luscious and soft. Whistles had this amazing Yellow Sweatshirt last season, then I found this skater Skirt this year from Whistles while window shopping on George's Street in Edinburgh.

To add a little accesory spice I wore my new Kenneth Jay Lane Ram Bangles and my own handmade rings. Oh yea, this is my new hair cut too!! So do you like...Or are you thinking....'WHY?!?!?' I must admit I totally miss my afro at times, but with my after wedding weight gain and battle to loose this excess weight. I can now work out and start my day without any hassle. Besides it's hair...it'll grow back!!!

Afro Exodus

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know I've done something drastic lately...I cut my hair. I've been wanting to for the last several years but didn't because of Pharmacy Placements and then my wedding was coming up and I wanted a classic natural hair style. I must admit I do miss my full afro and the lovely twist outs I used to achieve, thus enjoy this post because my Afro is gone!
Outfit Details:
COS (Sold Out) like this (here)
Banana Republic Trousers (here) + (here)
Vintage Ferragamo Shoulder similar versions (here), (here) + (here)
Salvatore Ferragamo Varina (here) + cutout version on sale (here)

I am loving black and white combinations (channelling an inner Janelle Monae maybe?) at the moment. I'm that girl that has about 10 pairs of different black trousers, I didn't know until I starting noticing how easy black trousers are to coordinate with anything...like these new Blue Ferragamo Varina's. A girl can never have too many Varina's!
