Hey everyone, when I say this week has been something else, it has! I have started my placement in the hospital for the next 6 months and it has been a busy and enjoyable experience thus far! It makes you know that you need to know SO much more than you ever imagined.
In the hospital jewelry below the elbow is prohibited and I can't wear watches on my ward rounds for infection control. So I can only really wear necklaces and earrings for accessories. I have tried to down my wardrobe this week and be a bit more conservative so they take me serious for the first week. But deep down inside I always want to walk in with a nice bright pink skirt and button up, but thought that'd be a bit too much for the first week!
So for the professionals out there, what do you tend to wear to work?
Hope you've had a great week.

Ahh you look great in blue! You could definitely do some bold colors and prints but with a conservative style.
Love how the blue looks on you :)

Hey chick. I'm in the healthcare field so I totally feel ya. I usually push the envelope with either a statement necklace or earring....although I make sure my earrings are only about 1 1/2 inches long. I don't want that privilege to be provoked, lol. I can wear bracelets and rings in moderation so that helps me out too.

Shanequa- How on earth are you able to wear bracelets? In England, on the wards we have to be bear from the elbows down, and can't even wear nail polish, even clear. I think I am a bit too fashionable for work at times, lol!
@Milce,401,Beautiful Sundays- Thanks
@Jen- I will definitely try, but I dont want people thinking I am not serious because I don't dress conservatively. you know?
