Spring Tease

Do you live in a city where the Sun shines bright in the Morning, leaving you so excited because Spring is here? So you dress up in a nice dress and a jacket thinking that will suffice, only to go outside and it's cold. One of my Aunt's growing up used to call this phototrick.

Phototrick (n.) - When the sun is shining and you think the weather is hot or warm, but it is indeed cold. That's what happened to me here. I thought the weather was lovely outside; however, it was a tease. The Sun is shinning brighter, days are longer, the flowers are blooming, now if only the warm weather would roll around too! Tired of the weather teasing us!

Hope you've had a fabulous week!!!

Repeat Offender

I bought this Vintage Jacket one Sunday while I was out and about with my girl Daks from Thirdworldprofashional a couple of years ago. I wish I could make another jacket with a different pattern and the same fabric texture, that's how much I love this jacket. I literally throw this jacket onto any and everything whenever I can. It magically goes with almost anything! This jacket was the best £18 I ever spent on a Jacket.

I tend to like buying vintage jackets as they are made with amazing fabrics, the cuts are fabulous, and they are unique. As my collection of Vintage Jackets continues to increase, this jacket will always be dear to my heart causing me to be a repeat offender, over and over again!!

Happy Valentines day everyone, from my heart to yours! Muwah!!!!

Dear Ferragamo

The best shoe that has ever been created is Salvatore Ferragamo's Varina. They are classic, comfortable (if you get the right size), range in various sizes and widths, and to me are reasonably priced. I must confess; however, that I have never paid full price for my mini Ferragamo Collection because they ALWAYS go on sale.

With that being said I really want a pair of Green Varina's. I have waited for the past 5 years in hope that they would release a pair, but to no avail. I have seen Aunty's with lime green Vara's but they unfortunately do not wear my size. Trust me when I say I would have begged shamelessly if they did wear my size for them to release them into my possession.

After wedding shoe shopping, I released all designers do custom made shoes, (how a fashion addict like myself didn't know this is beyond my comprehension), so I walked into Salvatore Ferragamo to ask them to make me a pair of Green Varina's! I have to pay 30% extra and they will get back to me momentarily  I have been waiting for 2 weeks now....I am crossing my fingers VERY VERY HARD hoping and praying that they get back to me with good news. Their answer all depends on if they have the green leather readily available. If not, then I won't be getting my favorite shoes in my favorite color. Dear Ferragamo, please come back to me with good news!! In the meantime, I will enjoy the ones I already have.
