Au Naturale Inc.

I love my Afro and I am happy to see it back, for now. I have been natural for about 7 years, but only recently have I begun to start to actually take care of it, 5 months and counting and the results are amazing. I am one of those people that despise people putting their hands in my hair or asking doesn't it hurt when you comb it, or say it's 'cute'. I am not saying that everyone should be natural or even appreciate it but if you don't like it don't make certain comments just carry on.

In short, I love being au naturale, and this is my year of growth. Getting it straightened and trimmed on Friday, I am sad because I know they need to chop off my split ends, which means i will loose a lot of my length. But what needs to be done needs to be done. I can see me getting my hair done soon in the future to promote growth! So whatever your hair texture take care of your hair!!!

Please, I repeat please use a heat protectant, Superdrug brand or tresemme, and a normal hair straightener, not the straighteners that are on a stove, I had to start all over again. Your curl pattern is lovely, I used Dr. Miracle, temple and nape balm for my edges every other day for 6 weeks while wearing a weave, it does wonders.
